    My father ran the Joan LaRie III for Charlie Housley. He worked for him until the day she sank. As fate would have it he was not on that trip. Do you have many underwater photos of the boat ? I’d be interested in seeing them all.

    Hi Sandy, the Joan LaRie III here is not the Joan LaRie III fishing boat that sank in 1982. This was an old tug boat that was intentionally sunk as a memorial in honor of the original Joan LaRie III and those that died on it as part of the New Jersey Artificial Reef program.
