BALAENA video dive report

Video dive report from this past Sunday’s dive aboard the Independence II (www.deepexpeditions.com) to the wreck of the BALAENA in the Mud Hole (150 fsw) off the coast of New Jersey.  Conditions were great for the Mud Hole with 15-20 feet of visibility and lots of ambient light. Temperature was 46F on the bottom and toasty in the 70s for the hang.  Not the greatest video, but definitely gives you a feel for this large wooden wreck.

NE SAILOR

Snuck out on the TUNA SEAZURE last Friday 4/20 and got in a nice dive on the NE Sailor wreck which is thought to be an old schooner in 75 fsw.  This wood wreck is low lying with lots of good lobster holes.  Visibility was 15-20 feet and temperature in the high 40s.

Florida cave diving

Had some cave diving fun last week in N. Florida cave country.  Picked up a new Light Monkey 12W LED while in town which worked out very nicely!  I only took photos on two dives… Ginnie Springs and Madison Blue… here is a slideshow from those dives…
